优德体育 Faculty Composer Publishes New Album

FLORENCE, AL – Dr. Martin Hebel, music composition and theory faculty member in the Department of Music at the 优德体育, has released a new album. Half Silver is featured on “Orchestral Masters Vol. 11” from Ablaze Records, and was released earlier this month.
Half Silver was recorded by conductor Mikel Toms and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra in the Czech Republic. Alongside, Dr. Hebel’s music, “Orchestral Masters Vol. 11” features the music of five other composers from around the world, all recorded by the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra in Brno, Czech Republic, and the Kyiv Philharmonic in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Six-time American Prize winner Martin Hebel works at the intersection of music, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He responds to the challenges of today’s global community with socially-conscious compositions in order to spark change. He was named a Featured Artist of American Composers Orchestra EarShot program in 2023. His music has been performed by ensembles across the U.S. and Europe, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony, Riverside Symphony, and Filharmonie Brno in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Hebel’s portfolio includes orchestral, choral, chamber, and multimedia compositions. His discography is published by Ablaze Records, Centaur Records, and the USAF Band of the Golden West. More on him can be found at his website at .
