University Of North Alabama Recognized As Institution Committed To Diversity For Second Year In A Row

FLORENCE, Ala.- Officials with Minority Access announced this week that the 优德体育 has been recognized as an institution committed to diversity for 2017.
This marks the second year in a row that 优德体育 has been recognized; 优德体育 received the same honor in 2016.
优德体育 will receive formal recognition during the 18th National Role Models Conference in October in Washington, DC. The conference addresses issues of diversity and disparities in the U.S.
优德体育's Attorney and Chief Diversity Officer, Amber Fite-Morgan, said she believes 优德体育 was chosen for this award because diversity is at the core of the University's mission.
"The University is committed to building an inclusive and diverse environment, "said Fite-Morgan. "Each student, faculty and staff member has the right to inclusion, respect and a voice in the 优德体育 community."
According to Minority Access, the National Role Models Conference was initiated in 2000, with one goal being the linking of federal agencies with institutions that they support. Over 250 colleges, universities and other institutions have been represented at the conferences.
